👰🤵 Party convoy

Bachelorette and bachelor party mini boats in Clearwater, FL

Last splash before the big day.

Skip the predictable party bus. Put the whole bridal party or the groom's crew on the water in two-seat mini boats and ride together as a mini boat convoy around Clearwater.

A party where everybody gets a wheel

The best bachelorette and bachelor parties give everyone a story to tell. A mini boat convoy does that by design: the crew pairs up, every pair gets its own two-seat mini boat with a 30 hp engine, and nobody spends the day watching from the back of someone else's boat. The bride or groom can lead the convoy, ride shotgun with the maid of honor or best man, or captain their own boat.

It also photographs ridiculously well. Picture a line of mini boats with matching sunglasses and one very obvious guest of honor. Tag the pics with #ClearwaterEscapes so we can see them.

How to plan it

  1. Count your crew. Two people per mini boat. Pairs ride together as a convoy.
  2. Choose your drivers. Every boat needs a driver who is 18+ with a photo ID, and drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need a Florida boater card or FWC temporary certificate. Sort this out early; it's the one detail you can't fix on the day.
  3. Request your escape. Tick "group outing", add the date and tell us it's a bachelorette or bachelor party in the notes.
  4. We confirm and deliver. We reach out to confirm the date, crew size and launch point, then deliver the boats to the water.

Make it a sunset send-off

Golden hour is made for a toast to the couple (after you're back on land). Check the Clearwater Beach sunset time and read our sunset ride tips when you pick a date.

How a mini boat convoy works

Every mini boat seats two, side by side. For a group, everyone pairs up, each pair gets its own boat, and the whole crew rides together as a mini boat convoy. It's the same boat, the same walkthrough and the same life vests for everybody, just more of them on the water at once.

  • Two people per boat. Count your crew, divide by two, and that's your convoy.
  • A driver for every boat. Each boat needs a driver who is 18+ with a photo ID. Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 also need a Florida boater card or an FWC temporary certificate. Sort out who's driving before the day; our boater card guide explains it.
  • We come to you. We deliver the boats to the launch point, so the group meets at the water.
  • Walkthrough first. Every ride starts with a walkthrough of the controls and safety basics.

Tick "group outing" when you request your escape and we'll plan the details with you: date, crew size and launch point.
